Easy winter hike from the Zeinisbahn mountain station to the Ascher Hut

A welcome change from skiing is the winter hike to the Ascher Hut. The Medrigjochbahn and the Zeinisbahn take you comfortably to the starting point. The panoramic tour starts at the Zeinisbahn mountain station. Along piste 32, nature lovers take a leisurely stroll on marked paths to the Furglerblick valley station and then on piste 30 to the Ascher Hut. At the top, the view of the Verwall group with the Hohen Riffler (3,168 metres) is impressive. The same route as the ascent takes you back to the starting point and the cable cars back to See.

Note: The winter hiking trail runs along ski slopes. Therefore, please use the edge of the slopes, walk one behind the other, keep dogs on a leash and leave danger areas such as crossings quickly.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: See Dorf/Bergbahn
