If you’re looking for even more variety and would like to combine hiking and cycling, you can do so during a Bike & Hike tour. Simply hop on your bike to get to the starting point of your hike. It’s good for the environment – and also good for you, because you don’t have to waste time looking for a parking space.

Facts about hiking in Ischgl

Perfectly prepared

Yes. We recommend the Paznaun High Route. It boasts nine stages and is a highlight for hiking enthusiasts.

Bus number 260 runs between Landeck-Zams station and Bielerhöhe in Galtür.

If you’re looking for a route with particularly stunning views, we recommend the following:

  • Difficult: Gipfelwanderung Rauher Kopf (summit hike)
  • Intermediate: Tour to Friedrichshafender Hütte
  • Easy: Hiking route to Mutta

Almost all hiking routes boast numerous great spots for a break along the way. However, there are also some routes without any mountain lodges or restaurants, for instance, the routes to Lake Madleinsee, Lake Vergrösssee and Rauher Kopf. These routes leave you with even more time to savour the breathtaking nature and exceptional views.

The following routes are great for family hiking:

All these routes are located in the ski resort. This means that you can easily reach or shorten them by hopping on the cable car.

All hiking trails in the Paznaun valley are well signposted. There are signs at the start of every route as well as along the way, pointing you in the right direction.

Please note: The sign-posting system is different if you enter the hiking regions of Switzerland or Vorarlberg.
