Intro
Medium-difficulty Inntalblick circuit
Description
An extensive and varied tour which enables you to explore the entire anterior part of Paznaun. The route initially follows side roads down into the valley bottom and from here runs a few metres along the main road out of the valley and then right, crossing the river and into the extensive forest on the southern side of the valley. The forest roads follow a moderate incline over some 400 m of elevation gain before heading back downhill towards See.
Here you change to the other side of the valley and continue on parallel to route K.2 – Weilertour Kappl (page 70). After 19.7 km, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Upper Inntal valley before cycling along through the hamlet of Kappl on the sunny slopes back to the start.
Arrival
The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.
Parking
Underground parking at the community center.
Further parking in Kappl village at the Pardeck (opposite Camren's Pizzagrill) or below the bakery Wechner - the parking time is limited to 3 hours in winter.
Public transport
With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Kappl Dorf
