Bike & Hike Galtür - Bielerspitze

The starting point of this Bike & Hike tour is the information office in Galtür. Along the Trisanna, a gravel path leads parallel to the road up to the Bielerhöhe (2,037 m). After about 10 km you reach the top of the pass. You can park your bike in the bike depot at the Piz Buin mountain inn. The inn with its large sun terrace and view of the Silvretta reservoir is perfect for a short rest. Then the hike begins. After an initial flat section, it becomes steeper and goes in small hairpin bends towards the summit. A wide summit plateau opens up around the Bielerspitze (2,545 m). The summit is located exactly on the border between Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Up here you can enjoy the view of the bright blue Silvretta reservoir, the Ochsental glacier and many striking peaks of the Silvretta group.

Tip: This tour is perfect as a sunrise tour.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

At the Arzthaus Galtür or at the Sports and Culture Centre Galtür

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Dorfplatz
