Bike & Hike Ischgl - Hohe Köpfe

The tour starts in the village center of Ischgl. Follow the Paznauntal road with your bike until you reach the Paznaunweg, which leads over the Trisanna. Now continue along the valley floor to Mathon. Along the edge of the forest you cycle around Mathon and in the hamlet of Preserau you join the road again on the valley floor. After passing Valzur, take the forest road towards
forest road in the direction of the Friedrichshafener Hütte (2,138 m). This leads through forest in wide hairpin bends to above the tree line. The refuge is picturesquely nestled by a small lake and offers a fantastic view of the Silvretta and the imposing Fluchthorn. From here, continue on foot in the direction of the Heilbronner Hütte. Finally you reach a fork in the path, here you follow the Georg Prasser path in the direction of Schafbichljoch. The ascent to the summit leads past the beautiful Brüllersee lake to the Hohe Köpfe (2,608 m).

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Mehrzweckhaus
