Description
The Bike&Hike tour starts in Kappl at the valley station of the mountain railroad. The bike route winds its way along a forest path up to the Visnitz Alpe lodge (1,825 m). The trail first leads through shady forest, past a rushing waterfall and finally along the Visnitzbach stream further and further into the idyllic valley. The bike is parked at the Visnitz Alpe lodge - the hut is also perfect for a stop. Then the hike of the combined tour begins. On foot, you first follow the road until the hiking trail to the Mittagskopf (2,405 m) branches off on the right side. Through the beautiful Swiss stone pine forest it goes the last meters up to the summit. At the top, a wonderful view of Kappl opens up.
Tip: The Bike&Hike route is ideal as a sunrise tour.
