Description
The route starts at the valley station of the Medrigjoch cable car in See. From there you first drive along the Paznauntal road into the valley and turn off at the Istalanzbach stream onto the forest road towards the panorama restaurant. The wide turns lead through wooded terrain further and further up the mountain. After just under 600 metres of altitude difference, you cross the Istalanzbach stream and reach the panorama restaurant of the See (1.850 m). From there, the trail winds its way up again in wide turns to the Ascherhütte mountain lodge (2,256 m). Here you can park your bike in the bike depot. The Ascherhütte mountain lodge is worth a visit not only for the view, but also for the culinary delights. On foot, follow the markings past several streams in the direction of Rotpleiskopf (2.936 m). Just below the summit, there is terrain riddled with boulders and an exposed area secured with a wire rope. Once you have reached the top, you will not only see the large summit cross, but also a fantastic view of the Verwallgruppe including the Hoher Riffler (3,168 m).

Tip: To shorten the bike route, take the cable car from See to the top station of the Medrigjoch cable car.
Arrival
The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.
Parking
Free parking at the valley station Medrigjochbahn
Public transport
With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: See Gemeindeamt
