E-Bike & Climb - Jamtalarena

The two newly renovated climbing gardens in the immediate vicinity of the Jamtalhütte (2,165m) are perfect for hot summer days and an approach by e-bike starting from Galtür.

Take the A 12 to Landeck, then the B 188 through Paznaun to Galtür. Take public transport (ÖBB) to Landeck and continue by bus (line 4240) to Galtür. (Stop: Galtür Post Office) Arrival / access via Vorarlberg (only possible in summer): On the A14 to Bludenz, then on the B 188 via Schruns (Montafon) to Partenen. Continue via the Silvretta High Alpine Road - Bielerhöhe to Galtür. By public transport (ÖBB) via Bludenz to Schruns terminus and continue by bus (line 85) to Galtür. (Bus stop: Galtür Post Office).

Galtür Gampele (chargeable)

Galtür village square - Hotel Gasthof zum Rössle over bridge - right into the Jamtal - Alpe Egg - Menta Alm - Scheiben Alm - follow the road to the Jamtalhütte. (Walking time: 03:15 h) Access by car possible all day up to the Menta Alp barrier. Before 9 a.m. and after 4.30 p.m. access by car possible as far as Scheibenalp.
