CHASE THE FOX!
The funny competition treats the challenge between cyclists without pedal assistance and those with pedal assistance in a playful way. Based on the medieval fox hunt, a sportive cyclist without assistance takes on the role of the fox. The fox sets off with a time advantage, and the e-bikers try to catch up with it by the time they reach the finish line.
Route
The E-Bike Fox Hunt takes place on the exciting route from Ischgl village to the Alpenhaus on the Idalp. A total of approx. 900 metres in altitude will be covered.
- Start: Silvrettaplatz (next to Silvrettabahn cable car)
- Finish: Alpenhaus, Idalp
Can also be done with road e-bikes or gravel e-bikes, entire route on asphalt.
Rules
- Fox
- The role of the foxes will be taken by the professional cross-country skier Teresa Stadlober (women) and snowboarder Andreas Prommegger (men).
- The fox competes in the challenge by biobike (= racing bike without pedal assistance) and is marked with an artificial fox tail on his body or bike.
- Technical regulations: road bike without pedal assistance
- The E-Bikers
- The fox hunters are a starters field with an e-bike. Participants from the age of 18 (born in 2006 and older) are eligible to start.
- Following the motto "hunt the foxes", the starting signal will be given by horn signal. The winners are those who manage to catch up with the foxes until they reach the finish line.
- Technical regulations
- All commercially available eMTBs (pedelecs) with a maximum pedal assistance of 25 km/h and a maximum rated continuous output of 250 watts are permitted.
- There is no e-bike check. The so-called "Gentle Agreement" will be pointed out in advance, whereby each participant has the moral obligation towards the other to participate honestly.

- 04:00 - 06:00 pm: registration in the event area at Silvrettaplatz | collection of starting documents and signing of the declaration of liability
- 06:30 pm: first ascent with the Silvrettabahn cable car
- From 07:00 pm: sun.downer in the Restaurant Alpenhaus
- 07:00 pm: start fox (female)
- 07:25 pm: Start e-biker (female)
- 07:35 pm: Start fox
- 07:55 pm: Start e-biker (male)
- 09:00 pm: E-bike fox hunt come together in the Alpenhaus restaurant with award ceremony
- 10:00 pm: last descent with the Silvrettabahn cable car
