In the winter season we warmly welcome you to our restaurant "Dorf Cafe" in the basement of the Gasthof Alt Paznaun. Family-run for over 30 years, the Restaurant „Dorf Cafe“ is already legendary and something of an insider tip in Ischgl. A little hidden, but still easy to find.

A good meal - and a good wine to complement it - spend the evening with friends, family and other nice people - enjoy the sociable atmosphere and feel at home in cosy corners and niches, in the alpine hut, in the arches, in the parlour or at the bar.

The Dorf Cafe, elaborately built by local carpenters and joiners, is a homely and unique cellar restaurant characterised by ancient wood. Almost 35 years ago, the wood of the entire half-timbered roof truss of our old house from 1681 was reused and installed here. In the middle part of the Dorf Cafe, our old pine wood parlour from 1766 found a home - 4 walls that could tell a lot about the past and offered our family and the generations before a homely living room for many decades. Likewise, the wood of a 300-year-old alpine hut from the Lech Valley was removed and reinstalled in the restaurant.
