Chapel of St. Lucius in the cemetery

Ischgl

The yellow baroque building from 1773 with the white accentuated edges typical of the time is only open on occasion. Christian Miller from Imst (*1737, ✝1798) painted the main and upper picture of the black and gold altar as well as the ceiling painting. The Pietà (around 1700) included in the altar of 1773 was created by the Tyrolean sculptor Jakob Auer (*1645, ✝1706), who is better known in eastern Austria.
