SPACE 73: A New Concept Combining Art and Culinary Delights

The new bar-lounge-club by "Gault&Millau Chef of the Year 2019" Benjamin Parth combines a culinary and art experience, aiming to become the new "space to be" in Ischgl.

A construction site at Dorfstraße 73 in the center of Ischgl is currently attracting attention. Where the popular American Bar Allegra was a meeting point for guests and locals for decades, a novel gastro concept called "SPACE 73" is being developed. The basement of the Gourmet Boutique Hotel YSCLA – accessible at ground level from Dorfstraße – is being completely renovated for this purpose. The concept is spearheaded by Benjamin Parth, who has been making waves in gourmet circles for years with his gourmet restaurant Stüva, one floor above. The new venue is set to open on November 29, 2019 – just in time for the season opening in Ischgl.

With SPACE 73, Parth brings his vision of a stylish bar-lounge-club to life. Visits to renowned beach clubs, lounges, and cocktail bars across Europe provided inspiration. Parth now incorporates the best of various worlds into his "chillout space," where art will also play a central role: works by world-famous street art and pop art artists will make a strong impact both indoors and outdoors. "SPACE 73 is meant to become the new 'space to be' in Ischgl, where our guests can simply have a cool time. It will be an absolute novelty inside and out – even in Ischgl, where people think they've seen it all," says the host.

And it wouldn't be a concept by Benny Parth if the "Gault&Millau Chef of the Year 2019" signature touch didn't also reflect in the culinary aspect: exquisite snacks and finger food as well as "grandes pièces" in a sharing style will be offered, along with corresponding wines and select champagnes. And since the predecessor of SPACE 73 – the American Bar Allegra – was always appreciated by locals and guests for its well-stocked cocktail bar, this will also be a central feature in the new venue, with imaginative cocktails and daily specials. The culinary offerings will be complemented by changing DJ sets featuring quality electronic music.
